REQUEST FOR TRANSFER OF RATHENOW ASYLUM SEEKERS
We, the asylum seekers in the city of Rathenow wish to refer your High Office to a letter of complaint (dated 2nd February, 2002), which we submitted to the authorities concerning the grave state of insecurity posed to Rathenow asylum seekers, owing to increase racial attacks by Neo-Nazis.
Secondly, on July the first this year, we addressed yet another letter voicing concern about the repressive manner of control being perpetrated by the officials-in-charge of our asylum home.
This state of affair prompted us to request for an urgent transfer of place of residence to DANGER-FREE places within Germany, where our security could be guaranteed.
It is therefore with great pleasure that we welcome the timely Ministerial Directive (Inner Ministry, as we are told by our Foreign Office), which is to pave the way for all asylum seeker, who face security risk to move to a safe place of residence.
However, our request is for an absolute transfer of all asylum seeker (who face security risk).
We should therefore be greatful if the Ministerium would make use of their High Offices to insure a smooth but speedy transfer process.
Thank you in anticipation.
Sincerely, your asylum seekers in Rathenow.
