THE FLÜCHTLINGSINITIATIV BRANDENBURG SUPPORTS THE OPEN LETTER OF THE ASYLUM SEEKERS IN RATHENOW
In view of the fact that there are many asylum seekers who have lived in this asylum home in Birkenweg, Rathenow, and some who are still living there to stand as witnesses to justify the nature of abuse exercised by the social workers in this asylum home,
In view of the complicated and sophisticated electronic eyes (cameras) installed to monitor the exits and entrances of the asylum seekers as if in a high security prison,
In view of the fact that journalists have to obtain official permission before visiting an asylum seeker in his/her space in a room,
In view of the fact that the asylum seekers attempted two times to dialogue these internal problems with the home mistress but she awfully rejected these offers and one of these offers was through the intermediary of the Evangelical Church of Rahtenow,
In view of the dishonesty of AWO Rahtenow to be addressing the point of the residencial restriction law, a thing the asylum seekers did not mention in their open letter but a sordid strategy to derail public opinion on the fact that the asylum seekers are addressing issues on the Federal niveau which AWO cannot handle,
In view of the fact that abuses are not limited in Rathenow but to the other asylum homes in the state of Brandenburg as also mentioned by AWO in a news paper article in MAZ of 20 to 21 (Westhavelländer) of July 2002,
In view of the fact that AWO Rathenow, considering the asylum seekers, victims of discrimination as oppressors, as liars,
The FIB will not stand to see a situation where the right of self determination of a group of asylum seekers are being trampled upon how the minorities are being exposed to racial attacks and their rights as minorities smashed.
The FIB wellcomes AWO's intention to sue the asylum seekers to court.
The FIB supports the asylum seekers in Rathenow, meanwhile calling for all forms of support from wellwishers and Pro Asylum Seekers Organisations in Geramany and abroad to defend the rights of asylum, Human right Organisations.
Thanks.
