A MESSAGE FROM THE INITIATIVE GROUP OF REFUGEES IN BRANDENBURG TO THE PUBLIC.
Respectful Ladies and Gentlemen, the Initiative Group of Refugees in Rathenow in the state of Brandenburg, wishes to bring to the knowledge of the national and international organisations and others about the incongruity of the law makers here in Germany.
It's internationally unconstitutional for an asylum seeker to be presented in front of any official of his country, he/she embassy for any other reason during the process period of his/her asylum process. It's rather unfortunate that the asylum seekers here in Germany are forced by various means by officials in the immigration and are carried to their embassies or to officials from their countries of origin. As a result, many asylum seekers are deported. They call this process a method of identification. This process is being carried on the asylum seekers against their will.
"Das Recht auf informationelle Selbstbestimmung." These words are from the German constitution (Law).
The German government has specialists paid on large package to identify the origins of asylum seekers. It's clear that the aim is not to identify the origin of the asylum seekers but to put their credibility at stake.
The government is investing huge sum of money on the belief that she is identifying asylum seekers through the following methods:
- test on native languages,
- Saliva analysis, to determine if really the children of the individual are related to him,
- Analysis on hand skeleton, to determine the age of somebody,
- X-ray of teeth, also to determine the age,
- The system of "In Augenscheinnahme", which consist of to take hairs from the genital parts of an individual such as:
Hair (from the head), armpit and sex; to determine the sex, age and origin of the subject.
The embassies of the asylum seekers have received orders from our Immigration Officies to prepare copies of Travelling Certificates which are always brandished to the asylum seekers, in the Immigration Offices, to be fill up and sign even when the case of the asylum seeker is still under process without any problem. In most cases, many asylum seekers are being threatened in the Immigration Offices to sign these forms, to later say he/she gave his/her consent in signing to go back to his/her home country, (a copy will follow).
Is Germany really trying to make asylum seeking INATRACTIVE as it has been said, or like the Interior Minister said: "The boat is full?"
We wish to remind the German government that these actions are discriminatory, cruel, racist and an abuse to human rights. We are appealing to the German government to respect the international treaties she ratified, to respect and promote human rights, because we believe that the authorities can verify the identity of asylum seekers without the use of tricks leading to human right abuse.
Thank you for reading.
